Woodsman Knife — 4.25” MagnaCut
A bushcraft-focused outdoor knife built for campcraft, hunting, and controlled hard use.
The Woodsman Knife is Avery Knifeworks’ dedicated bushcraft blade — a tool designed to excel at wood processing, camp chores, hunting tasks, and even controlled batoning. Sharing the same rugged construction and premium MagnaCut steel as the Field Knife, the Woodsman extends the blade length to 4.25” for deeper cuts, better leverage, and improved control in natural materials or around camp.
And while it’s built for the backcountry, it’s equally at home with the regular weekend yard work the average homeowner tackles — from trimming small limbs to cutting rope, opening bags of mulch, and handling everyday utility tasks.

Craftsmanship
The Woodsman Knife is hand-ground from MagnaCut, one of the most advanced steels available for outdoor tools. With a hardness target of 61–63 HRC, it holds a crisp edge through prolonged wood processing and hunting use while resisting chips, rolls, and corrosion.
The elongated 4.25” blade offers improved reach for splitting kindling, carving notches, and preparing fire materials. Its straight-back profile with a subtle drop tip maintains predictable control during both fine detail work and heavier field tasks.
The 4.5” hand-sculpted handle is shaped for secure, comfortable grip in all conditions — including cold, wet, or gloved hands. Ideal for chest-lever grips, saber grips, and choke-up techniques, it remains planted and stable no matter the job — whether bushcrafting in the timber or tackling a Saturday morning yard project.
